Session Road, Baguio City

You would probably associate Baguio City with Session Road since it is one of the famous places in the city. In fact, Session Road has been adapted as the name of a local band who made it big in the Philippine music scene.

Session Road is considered as the CBD of Baguio City with shops, restaurants, banks and bars lining its side.

During the Panagbenga Festival in the month of February, Session Road is closed to accomodate the parades and stalls that prop up during the event.

SM City Baguio is found in upper Session Road (at the foot of Luneta Hill). The mall boasts of a beautiful design. The canopy roof of SM City Baguio is made from Australian Teflon.

My favorite dining place in Baguio named GOBI is located here. Food is delicious and affordable.

At night, at around 10pm, mini ukay-ukays line Session Road. Here you can buy second hand bags, clothes and even stuff toys. Together with this mini ukay-ukays are sidewalk vendors selling almost anything. From pure leather wallets, socks, and even custom-made bracelets, necklaces with ethnic themes. Not to mention, pirated CDs and DVDs :)
